Kenneth H. Pohly

- B.A., North Central College (1945)
- M.Div., Garrett-Evangelical Seminary (1947)
- D.Min., Vanderbilt University (1969) - Dissertation topic: “The Clinical Method in Theological Education”
- Post-graduate work at the Urban Theology Unit, Sheffield, England; Andover Newton Theological School; and the Institute of Religion at the Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX.
- Prior to serving on United’s faculty, Ken was a pastor in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church (1947-64), and served as Director of Religious Activities at Otterbein College (1964-68).

Ken
Pohly was awarded the Seminary Medal on May 23, 2004 by President G.
Edwin Zeiders. The Medal is the highest honor the Trustees can bestow
on a person who has provided outstanding and long-term service to the
seminary.
