Story
Journey: An Invitation to the Gospel as Storytelling. Abingdon Press, 1988.
From the publisher
Learning the Gospel as episodes of stories is aided by Boomershine’s chapters which recover the essence of story as intertwining truth. Boomershine distinguishes learning a story in solitude from learning it with a friend or relating the story to another person altogether.
Besides moral instruction, Boomershine examines roles stories have in pastoral care, peacemaking/arbitration scenarios.
Executive
Producer for Out of the Tombs, an award-winning
video and multimedia story of the healing of the Gerasene demoniac produced
by the American
Bible Society.
Personal
An accomplished classical organist and pianist, Tom also enjoys golf and hiking.
