Peacemakers: Addressing Issues of Domestic, Sexual, Gang Violence and the Conflicts within Church and Community

Violence affects everyone, including the church and especially those who are victims and witnesses to the violence. Domestic Violence is said to be the mother of all violence that occurs in African American communities and communities of color. This focus group will identify issues of violence and conflict (i.e. Sexual, Domestic, Gang), learn its impact, and develop strategic conflict resolution ministries of prevention, intervention and mediation that will facilitate peace within families, churches, communities, and thus society.
