Ms. Jennifer McVay-Dyche is Director of Distance Education at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration at University of Dayton. She received her M.A. Ed. in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix and her B.A. in Corporate Communication from Marietta College.

Currently she leads a cross-campus team focused on promoting best practices in online pedagogy, instructional design, and student services. She serves as an instructional design consultant and trainer for faculty teaching blended and fully online courses.  She also teaches online courses for the University of Cincinnati's College of Education-Children's Hospital Online Master's Degree in Education for Physicians and Other Healthcare Professionals.

Her research interests include the theory and practice of adult education, instructional design for adult learners, and online community development. Jennifer has been a guest presenter and instructor at international and national educational meetings, including the International Open and Distance Learning conference in Eskisehir, Turkey, as well as the Northwest e-Learning Community's Annual Conference.
