  David’s areas of specialization include Late Medieval, Reformation, and Early Modern church history.

  David teaches courses on the history of Christianity, the Reformation, and the Reformed Tradition. He recently finished a book on Martin Luther that explains difficult areas in Luther's theology and another on race and slavery that examines the so-called "Curse of Ham" from Genesis 9.
